Booting all four legs allows the horse to comfortably maintain normal weight distribution. The exterior is constructed with Professionals Choice signature limestone-based neoprene. Together with an UltraShock lining, the SMB-3 safeguards the cannon bone, tendons and soft tissue, while absorbing energy from hoof impact.

The slightly longer suspensory strap stretches upon each impact of the hoof, allowing full ankle movement, helping to eliminate hyperextension of the fetlock. The SMB-3 is cut back at the lower front to allow for proper fit when used with any Professionals Choice bell boot. It also has lycra binding with a slight stretch that creates a more snug fit, both along the top and bottom of the boot, helping to keep dirt out. Once again, the Professional's Choice motto is achieved, The more comfortable the horse, the better the performance. SMB-3s are sized in small, medium and large. To choose the correct size, view the chart in the product images above. If you are still unsure which size to get, you should measure the circumference of your horse's front and rear fetlocks at the widest point. Then choose the boot size that is the next bigger size than your measurement. Example: If your horses fetlock measures 11" in the front and 12" in the rear, you should choose SMB-3 in a medium for both the front and rear. Small = 10 1/2 inch max fetlock circumference Medium = 12 1/4 inch max fetlock circumference Large = 12 3/4 inch max fetlock circumference. To choose the correct size, refer to the chart in the pictures area. If you are still unsure which size to get, you should measure the circumference of your horse's front and rear fetlocks at the widest point (see picture at left). After doing so, choose the boot size that is the next bigger size than your measurement. As an example, if your horse's fetlock measures 10.75" in the front and 11.5" in the rear, you should choose the size medium.
